Transition - This again consists
of several steps. The first and foremost is knowledge transfer. Here operating
procedures, documents and in some cases executives are prepared for process
execution. The next step is technology transfer. This tests if the existing
infrastructure is adequate for the project and adds any new ones that are
required for the project. Finally in order to start operations, process
executives are recruited or trained as need be.
Parallel Run - Here the
successful migration of the business process to offshore location is tested.
While doing this however, care should be taken that no interdependent process
is disturbed.
Steady State Operations - This
is the part where the flow of BPO services is maintained without interruption.
The second aspect of this step is to update the business process outsourcing
